Order from Chaos

The author of Genesis quickly identifies the Spirit of God in the dawn of creation. It is this Spirit (ruakh), or breath, or wind, that animates all of creation. His spirit is as visible today as it was on that day, as it animates not only the life of the objects, but the objects themselves. The physical experience becomes a picture of the mind behind it all - the one who sustains life.
